The cabin air filter in your car is a high particulate medium that attaches to the outside air intake of your vehicles ventilation system.  The aim of the device is to filter out pollutants from the air that would otherwise circulate though the cab.   It is recommended that you change your cabin air filter every 15,00 kilometers (or every 6 months) as filters can become clogged with dust, bugs, leaves and mould spores leading to pore performance of your air conditioning and a contaminated environment inside your vehicle.
